J.K. Rox, LLC was established in 2010 in remembrance of Jonathan Johnson and Karen Chapman to bring recognition to their legacy and the explore the premise that they "Rock".  Shamika wanted to share their achievements: Karen as an educator and Jonathan as an artist.  JK Rox, LLC brings excitement and education to children's lives through animated tales of stories dealing with childhood issues, such as grief, loss, low self esteem, bullying and other challenging problems.  To further this idea, Shamika helps to maintain overall wellness by bridging the gap between physical self and emotional self through counseling children, adults, families and couples.  She also offers workshops, seminars and support groups to those seeking healing; as well as supervision and consultation for other therapist and aspiring authors. 

Shamika Battle-Packer is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor, who has over 10 years of experience assisting children and families managing emotional and psychological pain. Shamika is the founder of JK Rox, LLC.
